Expanding "Documents" tab in an Order to allow more information options
We would like the documents tab in an order to allow for a greater sharing of information. This would become more of a "communications" tab rather than a strict "documents" tab. Currently, it is set up to require an active upload of a document or URL. Ideally, we would like to share information here that would be accessible by anyone who visits the Order page. And new additions to the is tab would auto-notify the assigned resources.
I would like it to allow us to input information WITHOUT the requirement of document upload. I would like to have extra options in the dropdown menus to facilitate a general text box that would allow copy and paste options.
I've attached some screenshots to illustrate these ideas. We already have a "group" called "communication" and we can make any type we want, as you can see, I've made two new types called "server location" and "shoot notes".
But I cannot proceed without first attaching a document for upload. Also, IF I choose to upload a document, I'd like to be able to do a "quickview" in Showmgr without having to first download it.
The idea here is to eliminate the extra step of having to email any additional information to assigned resources. I want to create a "one-stop shop" for all pertinent information on an order.

I really like the idea of having a free text box for order information, having auto-notifications based on updates, and also not requiring a document upload/download. It would definitely make the section/tab more useful.
