Summary
AOL was recently deprecated by our provider Auth0 and ShowMgr is therefore unable to fully support logins from AOL users. This article provides more information on the changes and options for users who currently use AOL emails to login to ShowMgr.
What's changed?
ShowMgr uses a third party, Auth0, to provide authentication and authorization services. As Auth0 is continuously reviewing its services and partners , at times must deprecate a feature or behavior for its users.
Recently Auth0 decided to deprecate AOL. This means that any ShowMgr user that has an AOL email address, may have issues logging into ShowMgr with their AOL email address.
What should I do if I have an AOL email address?
We recommend you stop using your AOL email address to login to ShowMgr and instead switch to a supported email address from your enterprise (for employees, if possible) or a free service such as @gmail.com or @live.com (for contractors).
When you log into ShowMgr with your new email address you will be redirected to a "User Authorization Request Form" where you will need to fill in your personal information and your system's Access Key. If you do not have your Access Key, please contact your System Administrator. The Access Key ensures the correct user access level and privileges are associated with your user profile.
