ShowMgr GO is our mobile version of ShowMgr. ShowMgr GO allows users to check on assignments, appointments, and shifts while on the go. This article will walk you through the basic features and navigation of the app.

Getting Started with ShowMgr GO

ShowMgr GO is our mobile version of ShowMgr. The app can be downloaded from the Apple or Android App Stores. Once downloaded, just login to the app using your regular ShowMgr login information. You will need to use your Mobile Access Key when you log in the first time. You can find this in the My Profile section located at the top right-hand corner of the screen. You'll see the Mobile Access Key at the bottom of the My Profile page.

All main pages of the app can be accessed via the navigation bar at the bottom or top right of the app home screen:

Click on the following icons to access the various pages:

mceclip2.png View orders you and your workgroup are assigned to.

ShowMgr GO: Viewing Orders

1. Select the Orders tab at the bottom navigation bar to view orders

2. Choose the Calendar or List icon at the top of the screen to change your view

3. In the Calendar view you can see the current month in a standard calendar format. Any date with an order on it will have a small dot beneath the number. In the Calendar view you can:

  • Click on the arrow mceclip8.png in the upper left-hand corner to change from a month to a week view
  • Select a date to see the name, time, and date of any order on that day. The dot next to the order shown corresponds to the booking status color choices made in the web app
  • Click on any Order from the Calendar to go to the Order’s detail page

4. In the List view you can see a comprehensive list of all orders you and your workgroup are assigned to in a chronological order. In the List view you can:

  • See the name, time, date, and booking status of every order. The dot next to the order corresponds to the booking status color choices made in the web app
  • Click on any Order from the List to go to the Order’s detail page
  • Filter your orders to show a sub-set of Orders

ShowMgr GO: Using Order Filters

It is possible to filter your orders in both the Calendar and the List view. Using filters can allow you to see a sub-set of Orders based on various criteria to include Order Status, Order Class, and System Division.

To filter your Orders:

1. Navigate to your Orders with either the Calendar or List view

2. Select the Filter icon mceclip11.png at the upper right-hand side to load the filters screen

3. Choose to only see orders assigned to you, orders assigned to just your workgroup, or both.

4. Select the other desired criteria to include Order Status, Order Class, and System Division. Note: these pages will only show the user the order classes and system divisions they have permissions to view.

ShowMgr GO: Viewing Order Details

In either the Calendar or the List view you can click on any Order to go to the Order’s detail page. Here you can see more details about the Order date, time, location, and more.

To access the Order Details page:

1. Navigate to your Orders with either the Calendar or List view

2. Click on the Order for which you would like more detail

3. Navigate across the top navigation bar to see the Order’s bookings, timecards, documents, and contacts. Note: The details page will show the user all the attributes they have permissions to view

ShowMgr GO: Viewing Shifts

1. Click on Shifts in the bottom navigation bar

2. You will be taken to a list of all upcoming shifts in chronological order. You will able to see their name, date, and time

ShowMgr GO: Viewing Appointments

1. Click on Appointments in the bottom navigation bar

2. You will be taken to a list of all upcoming appointments in chronological order. You will be able to see their name, date, time, and status. The color of the status dot corresponds to the status colors set up in the web app

ShowMgr GO: Updating Order and Booking Statuses

From an Order’s details page you can find the Order and Booking Status at the top of the Order Details page. These can be updated at any time if you have the required permissions.

To update an Order or Booking Status:

1. Select an order from either the Calendar or List Order view to see the Order Details page

2. Click on either the Order Status (left hand side) or the Booking Status (right hand side). The color of the status corresponds to the colors set as the status colors in the web app

3. You will be directed to a list of different statuses. Select the new status and close the window

ShowMgr GO: Adding a Timecard from the Timecards Tab

1. Select an order from either the Calendar or List Order view

2. Select the Timecard Tab on the top navigation bar to see timecards that have already been added to the Order

3. To add a new Timecard, select the plus icon at the upper right corner

4. From there, you will be directed to a timecard form showing Start Date and Time, End Date and Time, Duration, Type, Comments, and Work Complete.

5. Edit these fields to reflect the work done. Click Save to submit your timecard. The timecard will then appear on the order’s Timecards Tab.

ShowMgr GO: Adding a Timecard by Changing a Status

1. Select an order from either the Calendar or List Order view

2. From the Order details page, select the Status icon

3. Change the status icon to Complete at which you will be redirected to the Timecard showing Start Date and Time, End Date and Time, Duration, Type, Comments, and Work Complete

4. Edit these fields to reflect the work done. Click Save to submit your timecard. The timecard will then appear on the order’s Timecards Tab

ShowMgr GO: Alerts and Push Notifications
In your ShowMgr GO app, make sure you have your mobile settings on so you receive all of your important push notifications.
If you change your settings and they still don't seem to be working, please try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. All of your information is attached to your user profile so there will be no risk of losing any information. If you still continue to have problems, then please send our support team a message and we'll troubleshoot the issue further.
